We realize that visiting a church for the first time might generate a lot of questions, and even anxiety, so we would like you to know ahead of time what to expect.
What to Expect on a Sunday Morning
Our worship services are at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. 8:00 offers a traditional style of music; 9:30 offers a contemporary style of music and our 11:00 service features modern music.
Our Parking Lot
You will be able to see Ventura Missionary Church from the corner of Foothill Road and High Point Drive in Ventura. Turn north onto High Point from Foothill, and then make a right into our parking lot. Our main Sanctuary, where services are held, will be visible on the right. There are also parking spaces to your right for first-time visitors. These are for you!
As You Enter the Main Building
Our Information Center will be on the left as you enter the main building. There will be people there to greet you and answer any questions you have. Our Children, Youth and Family staff will be able to direct you to classes for children and youth. We also have a free gift for you there.
Our "Cup of Joe Cafe" will be on the right as you enter the building. Feel free to sit and relax with a cup of coffee!
What Do I Wear?
People at VMC wear a wide range of clothing from suits to jeans, so most likely there will be someone wearing whatever your style is!
During the Service
Our services include music (praise to God) and teaching from God's Word. Please fill out a Communication Card during the service. They will be found in front of you in the pew racks. Check anything off that may be of interest to you, so we can get back to you. Then place the Communication Card in the offering bag as it goes around. As our guest we do not expect you to give any money.
